Musheer Khan Biography, Early Life and Career Journey!

Musheer Khan is a popular cricketer who is playing for Mumbai, who is 19 years old. He has  completed his schooling from Anjuman-i-Islam Allana English School, Mumbai, to know more about him stay tuned.

Musheer Khan Biography 

The name of Musheer’s father is Naushad Ahmed Khan, who was the previous Indian domestic cricketer, his brother’s name is Sarfaraz Naushad Khan, who recently debuted in an International cricket match for Indian Cricket Team against England .

The main highlight of Musheer Khan is that he is a right hand top order batsman, and is also a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. For him cricket is a highly passionable sport. 

Musheer Khan Early Life 

He was born in 2005 at Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh and he was brought up in the suburbs of Mumbai. His family hails from Azamgarh UP. 

He spent most of his childhood in Azad Maidan. During Musheer childhood his father Naushad Khan taught him about cricket. 

With the help of his father’s teachings about cricket now he will become a highly famous cricketer. 

Musheer Khan Career Journey 

On Kanga League debut Musheer picked up 3 wickets against Rajawadi Cricket Club at the Oval Maidan and followed up with the fifer against Catholic Gymkhana. 

Musheer Khan ended this Kanga league with twenty five wickets from 6 matches and was named bowler of the tournament. 

At the time of a friendly based match between media and Yuvraj Singh’s academy, an 8 years old Musheer also picked the wicket of India’s 2011 World Cup. 

He started playing cricket professionally in the year 2021 – 2022 and Musheer made his 1st class debut on 30th December 2022 against the team of Saurashtra. 

He also got selected in the Mumbai squad for the 2022 U19 Cooch Behar Trophy, where he achieved the player of the tournament award for scoring 632 runs and picking up 32 wickets. He was also the 2nd highest scorer in the 2022 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. 

His performances in U19 Cooch Behar Trophy paved the way for his selection in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy group in December 2022. 

Though Musheer Khan did not have the breakthrough Rajni season, he smashed around 339 off 367 balls against Hyderabad in U-25 CK Nayudu Trophy in Jan 2023. Musheer innings involved 34 fours and 9 sixes. 

In November 2023 he represented India B in U19 One Day Challenger Trophy in Guwahati, scored 139 runs in the final against India A and also picked up 3/35. Through 268 runs from 3 innings, he was the 3rd highest run scorer in the tournament. 

Subsequently, Musheer Khan was named within Indian squad for the 2023 U19 Asia Cup in Dubai and the following tri-series against the hosts South Africa and Afghanistan in December to January. 

He was also named in India’s squad for U19 World Cup in South Africa, making him 2nd from family after Safraz Khan is chosen for India at youth level.  

According to sources speaking to ICC, Musheer reveals that some brotherly suggestions from Sarfraz supported him to cope with the pressure of playing in the Cricket World Cup. 

His (Sarfaraz) concentration was always on scoring the runs and on the procedure without worrying about the output. My concentration is too on the procedure” said by Musheer. 

Musheer scored around double hundred against Baroda in the Ranji Trophy 2024 quarter finals before coming up with the record breaking knock against Vidarbha within the final. 

Playing the matches just for 2 weeks after his 19th century birthday, he scored the hundred in a 2nd innings to become the youngest Mumbai better to notch up a century in the Ranji Trophy final. The earliest record belongs to Sachin Tandulkar, who scored tons in both innings against Punjab in 1994-1995.  

In conclusion, he is one of the best players in the Indian Cricket Team. At the time of his education he also played cricket very well.
