The Internal Revenue Service is going to accept the tax return for the year 2023 from January 29, 2024, those who will e-File in the initial will get a return likely within 21 days, the tax refund calendar is not yet released officially, although we have expected a refund.

The IRS has officially confirmed that they are going to accept the tax refund for the year 2023 from January 29, taxes will be accepted on this date and may receive returns after February 09 and February 16, 2024, via direct deposit and physical check, respectively, check the refund schedule from below.

Those who will file a tax return for the year 2023 in the initial stage will get the refund earlier than compared to filing in the middle stage or by deadline, as per IRS, 9 out 10 refunds which are filed electronically are received within three weeks.

Internal Revenue Service usually takes upto ten days to release the refund via direct deposit, once it is accepted, and incase of physical check, it takes 7 days more to be received at the residential address.

The schedule for tax year 2023 has not yet been released officially by the IRS, the refund filing window for on-paper and electrically will be available from 29 January to April 15, 2024, and those who will file an extension will have until October 15, 2024, to get the tax refund.

Those who want to get the refund earlier for tax year 2023 are recommended to file in the initial stage and opt for the direct deposit to get the refund by February 10, 2024, those who will claim the EITC and/or CTC will get the refund by February 27.

Windows for filing the tax return for the year 2023 electrically and on-Paper will be available from 29 January to 15 April 2024, The tax refund will be accepted on the day of filing the return (it happens when one e-files in the initial stage) he or she will get the direct deposit just within 10 days.

To receive the direct deposit after getting accepted for tax return for the year 2023 in case of filing by late February or early March, one has to wait up to two weeks or even more to get the refund amount i.e. if one’s refund is accepted by last week of February 2024, he or she is likely to get the direct deposit in the middle of the second and third week of March 2024.
