On 2 April 2024, at international Premium Live events, the WWE announced they would host Friday Night SmackDown on 14 June 2024 and Clash at the Castle on 15 June 2024 in Glasgow at the OVO Hydro, Scotland.
The 2024 Clash at the Castle is the second edition of Clash at the Castle and the first-ever WWE Premium Live event hosted by WWE.
