The BCECEB selects candidates for admission to industrial training institutes in Bihar by conducting the ITI CAT (Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test) every year.
The BCECE admission board released the notification for the 2024 entrance examination for Bihar ITI admission on 7 April 2024. The board has invited applications from eligible candidates between 7 April 2024 to 5 May 2024. The applicants can apply online for the ITI CAT through the BCECEB application portal and register themselves for the 2024 Bihar ITI CAT.
The board has provided information about the ITIs of the state in the notification of the Bihar ITICAT. The 25% seat of the ITIs will be free from the restriction of the district, meaning 25% seats in ITIs are available for all district students. The remaining 75% of the seats are only available to candidates for one of the following options:
- Candidates who have a residential certificate that proves he is a native resident of the district in which the ITI is affiliated.
- The candidate must have a transfer certificate of his/her father/mother/spouse to the district he wishes to enroll.

Bihar ITICAT Online Form 2024
The BCECEB board opened the window for the Bihar ITICAT Online application on the BCECEB application portal. The candidates must have the following documents and items in hand when they apply for the Bihar ITICAT examinations:

Eligibility for the Bihar ITI Admission 2024
The candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the 2024 Bihar ITICAT from the following eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- Candidates who are citizens of India, and fall under the category given in the prospectus of the Bihar ITICAT 2024.
Age limit:
- The minimum age of the candidate should be 14 years and the minimum age for the mechanic motor Vehicle and Mechanic Tractor is 17 years. There is no upper age limit for the Bihar ITICAT examinations.
- The candidates will get age relaxation based on the rules of the Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicant must have passed the secondary examinations in Mathematics and Science from Bihar or CBSE board or passed the equivalent course from a recognized University.
- The Candidates appearing in the Secondary or equivalent examinations this year can also apply for the exam.
Application fee for the Bihar ITICAT Online Form 2024
The candidates have to pay the following application fee according to their category:

- Next, sign in with your username and enter your personal information on the portal.
- Next, upload your scanned photograph and signature on the portal in the preferred size.
