UAE BAPS Temple Timings for Visitors and About the Mandir!

The BAPS temple is one of the biggest and most famous temples in UAE and this mandir is already opened in the month of Feb 2024. The inauguration of the BAPS temple took place with the 12-day ‘Festival of Harmony’ from 10-21 Feb 2024. Check the timing and other details from below.

The Newly inaugurated United Arab Emirates BAPS Temple remains open from Monday to Sunday from 05:30 am to 12:15 pm and 03:30 pm to 09:00 pm.

Devotees who want to visit should mark the timing mentioned above. In UAE Baps Temple Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj will be providing puja darshan on till February 25, 2024.

This darshan will be available through webcasts at and beginning at the following time.

The height of this temple is around 108 feet which is very much unique. The Marble (Cubic Feet) regarding this temple is around 40,000.

UAE BAPS Temple Architecture The BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi is one of the largest temples in West Asia and can host up to 10000 people.

The mandir stands at the height of 108 feet, 262 feet in length and 180 feet in width. Other architectural specifications include 2 ghumats (domes), seven shikars (spires) – symbolic of the seven Emirates in UAE and 402 pillars.

This contains marble carvings against a sandstone building backdrop. The mandir is made of more than 25000 pieces of stone carved by skilled artisans within India.

Within every shikar there are carvings of stories from the Ramayana, Shiv Purana, Bhagvatam, Mahabharata and carvings that portray the lives of Jagannath, Swami Narayan, Venkateshwara and Ayyappa.

The dome of harmony showcases the five natural elements – earth, water, fir, air and spaces. This temple also consists of carving of different animals such as camels and horses that shows the UAE.

The temple will incorporate entire aspects of traditional Hindu mandir being a part of a fully functional, cultural, social and spiritual complex.

The complex will involve a visitor centre, prayers halls, exhibitions, sports area for children, learning areas, water features, food court and others.

The temple has a hundred sensors in the foundation and more than 350 sensors placed throughout sensors to facilitate data on earthquake activity, pressure change and temperature variations.  

PM Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to the President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday for his help and generosity in facilitating the land for the construction of Abu Dhabi Hindu Temple, citing it being a testament to his fondness for India.
