  • Set it up through your CRA My Account, by submitting a TD1 form, or by calling the CRA.

Cheque: Still an option, but slower than direct deposit. Payments are mailed to your address on file, so expect processing time.

Pre-authorized Debit (PAD): Convenient and automatic. 

  • The CRA withdraws your benefit amount directly from your bank account on the scheduled date. 
  • Sign up via your CRA My Account or a TD1 form.
