On February 8, 2024, the APTET official website posted a notification for the APTET 2024. Applications for the AP TET Notification 2024 will be accepted online at aptet.apcfss.in from February 8 to February 18, 2024, for all interested applicants.
Candidates should begin their preparation as soon as feasible if they want to work as teachers in Andhra Pradesh’s government schools. The dates of the 2024 AP TET Exam are set for February 27, 2024, through March 9, 2024.
AP TET Application Form 2024
As of February 8, 2024, online applications for the AP TET 2024 February Exam opened. As it becomes active on the official website, https://aptet.apcfss.in/. AP TET is conducted annually by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the APTET Exam carry 150 marks each.

The Commissioner of School Education and Andhra Pradesh (CSEAP) administers the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) once a year. The AP TET Application Form 2024 must be submitted online, and the APTET Exam 2024 will take place entirely online.
How to apply for AP TET 2024?
To submit your applications for the AP TET in February 2024, follow the instructions below.
- Open the www.aptet.apcfss.in website of the Andhra Pradesh government’s Department of School Education.
- To apply online for the AP TET Examination 2024 positions, click the application link.
- Carefully enter all of your information in the proper fields on the online application.
- Please include a recent passport-sized photo of yourself along with your signature.
- If applicable, remit the whole application fee amount.
- Verify all the information, then apply.
- The AP TET 2024 application form should be printed out and saved for future use.
AP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- To be eligible to apply for the AP TET Exam 2024, students must be between the ages of 18 and 40.
Educational Qualification
- The AP TET Notification, which is listed below, determines the educational requirements for teaching positions.
Primary Teachers
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with least 45% grades and passing or finishing a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma.
- SC/ST/Differently abled candidates might get 5% relaxation or the Andhra Pradesh Government’s allowed percentage in minimum qualifying marks at intermediate/senior secondary level for teacher education course admission.
- Intermediate / Senior Secondary with least 50% grades and graduating from or pursuing the last year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with least 45% grades and passing or finishing a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- According to August 2010 NCTE standards, applicants who qualified before August 2010 may use the aforementioned qualification or percentage of marks.
- B.Sc./B.A./B. Com or last year of a 2-year primary education diploma.
Upper Primary Teachers
- Pass or enroll in the 1-year bachelor of education with at least 45%.
- ST/SC/Differently abled applicants get 5% relaxation in 12th/Senior Secondary minimum qualifying marks.
- ST/ SC/ BC/ Differently abled students might get quantum relaxation under Andhra Pradesh state government rules at the time of teacher education course enrollment with qualifying marks in B.A/ B.com/ B.Sc.
- If aspirants have post-graduation in relevant school topics but not the required bachelor’s degree %, they may apply for paper 2 (a) (b).
- Pass B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with at least 50% and do a 1 year B.Ed Special Education Course.
AP TET 2024 Application Fee
The cost of each paper for both the online application submission and the computer-based test is Rs 750/-.
The application cost is the same for all categories, and applications from applicants will not be deemed complete if they do not pay it. The application cost for the AP TET 2024 is shown below.
