(Hons.) in Aircraft Engineering to be awarded by UHI-PC & B.Tech in Aircraft maintenance engg to be awarded by JNTUK.   JNTUK, MAS GMR Aerospace Engg & Perth College, University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) of Scotland singed a Tripartite MOU enabling GMRIT-Rajam/JNTUK to offer 4-year dual degree program i.e B.Engg. (Hons.) in Aircraft Engineering to be awarded by UHI-PC & B.Tech in Aircraft Maintenance Engg to be awarded by JNTUK . Student will study for 2 year at GMRIT/JNTUK and 2 years at Perth College, UHI. On successful completion of the course the eligible students are assured of 1-year Internship at MAS GMR Aerospace Engg . The course will start from this academic year at both the campuses i.e GMRIT, Rajam and JNTUK campus. The admission will be done by JNTUK and course curriculum and delivery will be monitored by JNTUK   2) Environmental Research Institute" (ERI) of University of Highlands and Islands (UHI).   An MoU has been signed between GMRIT-Rajam and the"Environmental Research Institute" (ERI) of University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) to Establish CoE in "Environmental Science and Energy Engg" To study the areas of north coastal Andhra Pradesh, addressing the environment related issues of local interest and serve the community at large "Environmental Research Institute" (ERI) of University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) of Scotland has signed an MOU with GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam to Establish Center for Excellence in "Environmental Science and Energy Engg". Initiating the Process of establishing the CoE , a team from ERI represented by Prof Andrew Rae visited GMRIT and Col Ajay Reddy, ADE of GMRVF signed an MOU with ERI team to formalize the process   3) IBM Software Centre of Excellence    GMRIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IBM to pursue higher education for students and faculty members by giving a free training of IBM tools and Software Certifications. IBM opened a Software Centre of Excellence at GMRIT with the aim of providing world class skills to students on IBM latest Technologies and IBM products.  The IBM Software Centre of Excellence enables to conduct training for students through the faculty enabled by IBM.
