GMRIT has
consistantly been successful in getting Gold Medals three times in a row at
State level under JNTU.

2007 outgoing batch students:
Ms.Goel Deepika Agarwal from Civil
Engineering and Mr.Sri Harsha from Chemical Engineering received gold medals
during 24th JNTU Convocation held on 24th April, 2008.

outgoing batch students:
Mr.M.Raghavendra Rao from EEE branch and
Mr.K.Shyamala Rao from Civil Engg. received gold medals during 23rd JNTU
Convocation.

outgoing batch students:
Mr.M.Venkata Sudhakar of Chemical Engineering was
adjudged as "Best outgoing student of Chemical Engineering out of all
colleges" respectively among all colleges affiliated to JNTU.
